The Opportunity

In your new role, you will maintain and strengthen the critical infrastructure that powers homes, businesses and communities across NSW and the ACT. Working across transmission and substation assets, you'll deliver mechanical maintenance, installation, repair and construction activities that support a safe, reliable and sustainable energy network.

You'll join a team that values safety, craftsmanship and continuous learning, with opportunities to work on diverse projects, develop specialist skills and contribute to Australia's transition to a cleaner energy future. The ideal candidate will be a qualified mechanical tradesperson with strong welding and fabrication capabilities, a proactive safety mindset and experience working on industrial or infrastructure assets.

  

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, installation and fault finding
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills with the ability to interpret mechanical drawings
  • Current HR Driver's Licence and relevant high-risk licences and tickets
  • A commitment to safety, teamwork and delivering high-quality outcomes in the field
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home as required
