The Opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join Transgrid as a Facilities Lead. You'll drive contractor performance, by planning, prioritising and managing administrative and operational activities while pursuing efficiencies in facilities management across our sites. While collaborating with a dedicated team, you will provide exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement throughout the organisation.

 

You will play a key role in developing forward-thinking maintenance and capital expenditure strategies, while incorporating sustainable best practices, including ESD. This role will allow you to shape the future of facilities operations while driving impactful change across our office, depots, and network property assets.

 

About You

 

  • Relevant qualifications at degree level and/or experience in facilities (or similar) management and Certificate III in a relevant trade.
  • Knowledge and expertise in asset management principles and their application to facility management and the recommendations of minor works projects.
  • Extensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies and standards, including their application to facility management solutions beneficial
  • High level expertise in document preparation (concise reports, briefs and technical documents), written and verbal communication skills and organisational and time management skills
  • Cooperative approach to working in a team
