As a Senior Health and Safety Advisor – Major Projects, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the safe and successful delivery of the HumeLink project. Working closely with the H&S Manager and embedded within the project team, you’ll lead safety initiatives, provide expert advice, and foster a strong, proactive safety culture across Transgrid and its delivery partners. This is a site-based position requiring regular engagement with multiple project locations and stakeholders to ensure best-practice health and safety outcomes.
The position can be based in Goulburn, Yass, or Wagga Wagga.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in health and safety within major infrastructure, construction, or transmission projects
- Experience of working as a Client representative on an Active Client project or similar is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk management frameworks
- Ability to influence, coach, and build trust across multidisciplinary project teams and delivery partners
- Proven skills in incident investigation, auditing, and continuous improvement of safety systems
- Commitment to embedding a positive safety culture and ensuring every person goes home safe, every day.
