The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Planner you are a technical specialist accountable for the successful development and optimization of Job Plans for reactive maintenance on high voltage Transmission Lines. You will play a key role in ensuring all job requirements are met with precision, including coordinating HV outages, mobile plant, specialized equipment, number of resources, skill levels required and job duration. Your expertise will drive the accuracy of estimates and the efficient planning of maintenance activities, ultimately contributing to the seamless operation of critical infrastructure and the continued reliability of the power transmission network. Your work will be vital in supporting safety, efficiency, and the long-term success of the organization’s operations.
About You
- Possession of an appropriate qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience:
- Electrical or Powerlines (Transmission) Certificate III or equivalent
- Extensive practical experience in reactive maintenance on Transmission lines
- Knowledge in the application of WHS and environmental legislation
- Knowledge of corporate drawings, design and management systems
- Extensive experience in ERP systems and works management
