This is a unique opportunity for a commercially astute and dynamic professional to join LUMEA™ as a Transaction Governance Manager. LUMEA™, a Transgrid Group brand, is at the forefront of renewable energy solutions in the competitive energy market.
As Transaction Governance Manager, you will report directly to the Transaction Governance Director and play a critical role in structuring, negotiating, and securing internal approvals for complex commercial transactions. You will drive alignment across internal stakeholders, ensuring deals progress smoothly and efficiently while maintaining governance and risk oversight.
We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-focused environment, can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and has the ability to author and own high-quality board papers that drive decision-making.
Your Impact
• Lead and facilitate transaction governance processes to ensure efficient and timely decision-making.
• Structure, negotiate, and secure agreements that drive commercial success while balancing risk.
• Build strong relationships and consensus among internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, regulatory, and executive teams.
• Take ownership of transaction-related board papers, ensuring clarity, strategic alignment, and executive buy-in.
• Develop governance frameworks that bring consistency across commercial and approval processes.
About You
• Proven ability to drive deals from inception to execution in a capital-intensive industry.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance risk and outcomes.
• Highly skilled in negotiation and stakeholder management, with the ability to build consensus across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience in writing and presenting board papers that shape executive decision-making.
• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in a commercial, contracts, or a governance role.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, law, commerce, or a related field.
• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a rapidly evolving environment.
