Testing & Threat Intelligence Cyber Security Analyst

Join TransGrid and play a key role in nation-building renewable energy projects that provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for generations to come. We’re growing our Cyber Security team and are seeking a Testing and Threat Intelligence Cyber Security Analyst to help strengthen our security capabilities.

Reporting to the Corporate Cyber Security Testing and Intelligence Lead, you’ll coordinate tasks to reduce cyber risks, manage security review requests, and maintain security tools and procedures. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to advancing TransGrid’s Cyber Security capability.

About you

We’re looking for someone with a passion for cyber security and a proactive approach. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a cyber security role, ideally within Power/OT environments.
• Experience analysing security incidents and providing effective responses.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of security best practices, cloud environments, ISO27000/ISMS, and risk management.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
