About the Role

 

As the Technical Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of HumeLink by guiding design, engineering and asset compliance activities across the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will work collaboratively across project teams and Asset Management to ensure technical solutions are safe, compliant, and aligned with long-term operational and asset lifecycle outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and coordinate design, engineering and asset compliance activities across assigned work packages, with a focus on quality and safety
  • Partner closely with Asset Management to embed asset lifecycle, operability and maintainability considerations from design through to delivery
  • Support technical governance, approvals and compliance with Transgrid standards, regulatory obligations and ISO55001 frameworks
  • Work constructively with Owner’s Engineers and delivery partners to resolve technical matters and progress engineering documentation
  • Contribute to commissioning readiness, asset acceptance and a smooth transition of assets into operations.
