Team Leader - Transmission Line Design

The Opportunity

As Team Leader Transmission Line Design, you will support the Design Manager in providing technical advice and design expertise the development of standards for transmission lines and cables.

You will lead a team of dedicated Design Engineers to deliver project objectives that meet stakeholder requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of Transgrid’s technical standards for transmission lines and cables.
• Manage technical specifications to ensure Transgrid’s project and maintenance requirements are met.
• Maintain high standards of team productivity and quality.
• Oversee and develop the technical competency of the team to meet current and future business needs.

About You:

• Extensive relevant experience in transmission line and cable design, with the ability to carry out detailed engineering designs within their area of expertise.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Strong background in engineering practices, including technical drawings, drawing systems, and project delivery.
