Transgrid is currently recruiting for a highly motivated Systems Reporting & Improvement Analyst to join our procurement team. The role plays a key role in supporting the Procurement function by leveraging data analysis and reporting to enhance decision-making, strengthen procurement governance, and drive process and system improvements. Utilising Transgrid’s various business systems, this role is responsible for coordinating and delivering regular weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Additionally, this role provides support for ad hoc data and reporting requests across the business, as well as playing a key part in advancing strategic procurement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess some or all of the following:
• Tertiary Qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline
• 5 years of post qualification work experience in relevant area
• Procurement reporting background will be viewed favourably
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with strong command of analytical methodologies and with the ability to work autonomously in drawing and interpreting relevant consistent data from multiple sources and presenting information in clear concise reports
• Naturally curious, actively wants to understand underlying interrelationships in data.
• Demonstrated skills in financial modelling and performance analysis.
• Advanced excel user and experience with using PowerBI.
• Demonstrable experience in business performance and process improvement.
• Knowledge on the use of corporate data/financial systems and software applications.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Customer focus with strong relationship building skills.
• Time management skills to address any conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
