About the role

 

In your role as Spatial Information Lead, you will oversee the management, integration, and analysis of GIS data to support the planning and delivery of the Hunter Transmission Project.This role ensures spatial information is accurate, accessible, and consistently used across project teams to support informed decision‑making and compliance. Working closely with the Technical Lead, you will provide critical GIS inputs to enable efficient design and construction outcomes.

 

About You

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Geography, Geospatial Science, Surveying, Information Management, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in spatial data management, GIS software, and geospatial analysis within infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and data integration tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex spatial information.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with spatial data standards, quality assurance processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement in spatial information management.
