Join HumeLink, one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, delivering approximately 365 kilometres of new 500kV transmission lines that will strengthen the NSW electricity network and connect more renewable energy to homes and businesses. As part of Transgrid's Major Projects team, you'll help deliver nationally significant infrastructure that will power Australia's clean energy future for generations to come.

 

About the role

 

As a Site Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing construction activities across the HumeLink project, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications. Working closely with the Construction Manager, contractors and project teams, you'll coordinate day-to-day site operations, monitor contractor performance and ensure quality, environmental and safety standards are maintained throughout construction.

 

This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to contribute to one of Australia's largest transmission projects while working across regional New South Wales.

 

This role is full-time onsite and is based in either Bannaby, Tumut or Yass depending on project requirements. 

 

About You

 

  • Experience managing construction activities on major infrastructure, utilities or transmission projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, contract administration and quality assurance processes.
  • The ability to coordinate contractors, resolve on-site issues and maintain project progress against program.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong commitment to collaboration and safety.
  • Relevant engineering, project management or trade qualifications (or equivalent experience), together with a current driver's licence and willingness to travel to regional project sites.
