The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager who will be responsible for the development and implementation of fit for purpose Risk & Analytics structures and systems required to support project controls best practice delivery.

 

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will manage all Major Project risk management requirements, including processes and reporting, whilst also guiding and coaching any project managers, site managers, engineers or graduates within the team.

 

What you’ll do

  • Lead and embed risk management across major projects, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation strategies, and monitoring.
  • Provide risk assessment and costing of options to assist with decision making for projects.
  • Facilitate risk workshops, reviews and assurance activities, driving continuous improvement and lessons learned.
  • Integrate risk processes with project cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives to optimise safety, efficiency, and outcomes.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in project risk management, ideally with Tier 1 contractors or major client organisations.
  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline, with risk management certification (RMP/PRMP) desirable.
  • Strong expertise in risk identification, assessment (cost/time QRA), treatment and mitigation.
  • Working knowledge of risk management systems/applications such as CAMMS, ARM or similar.
  • Use of quantitative risk analysis tool such as Acumen Risk, Safran Risk and Palisade @risk.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
