About the Role

 

The Project Manager SS leads the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple substations within the HTP Delivery Phase. This role drives implementation of project management frameworks, manages reporting, strategies, and plans, and coordinates across multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery aligns with scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements. You will deliver a critical portion of a major infrastructure project, ensuring strong governance, risk management, and performance tracking while supporting senior leadership with clear visibility of project status and outcomes. 

 

Note, this position is based in Newcastle to align with the project requirements.

 

About You

 

  • Significant (15 years +) experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, with strong capability in managing complex transmission or construction environments including large scale substation construction experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, building trusted relationships and achieving positive outcomes.
  • Proven capability to manage competing priorities, resolve challenges, and deliver outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks, governance, and risk management in large-scale delivery.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and work both independently and collaboratively.
