  • The role requires to have an onsite presence at Wagga for a minimum of 3 days a week

The Opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Senior Project Engineer to manage the project engineering function and aspects of the project management function within the project team.

 

You will undertake detailed engineering management and provide support to various Senior Project Managers whilst being a part of a team that look after technical, procurement, material, construction, design coordination, start-up and close out items.

 

Additionally, you will Manage technical RFI responses, determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion whilst demonstrating a high-level technical understanding relevant to the role.

 

Due to the nature of this position you will need to travel within the state of NSW and possibly other states to work at regional locations.

 

About You

 

  • Suitable qualification in relevant discipline or substantial industry experience in the delivery of large-scale projects.
  • High level of technical knowledge in the construction of substation or transmission line assets. Other linear infrastructure experience may also be considered such as pipeline, regional rail etc.
  • Proven to work well autonomously. 
  • High standard of communication and report writing skills, personal integrity and professionalism. 
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Government policy guidelines, which govern safety, engineering design, environmental assessment for the implementation of engineering projects 
  • Preferable suitable Experience in the management of construction contracts and construction site activities. 
  • Foster a high performing team culture including resource management and leadership roles. 
  • Upholds values of trust, respect, integrity and service.
  • Willingness to grow in career and bring a passionate drive to the team.
  • The successful candidate will be provided career growth opportunities, mentoring and training towards a Senior Project Management role.
  • A valid current Drivers Licence.
