As our organisation continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior People Advisor to join our People & Culture team based in Ultimo. In this role, you'll be instrumental in delivering the People & Culture strategy, offering high-quality advice and support to leaders and employees across a wide range of people-related matters. You'll contribute to shaping and embedding best-practice HR policies, processes, and programs across the business.

 

 

About you

We’re looking for candidates who bring a strong mix of experience, capability, and people-first thinking. You’ll be well-positioned for success if you can demonstrate the following:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline—or equivalent experience in human resource management.
  • Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, National Employment Standards, and experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in designing and implementing efficient HR processes, including process mapping and gathering business requirements.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, including executive leaders.
  • Capable of operating across a broad range of operational HR and business issues.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid skills in case management, project coordination, and record management.
  • Previous experience in infrastructure, energy, or construction industries will be highly regarded.
