As we enter an exciting phase of growth, we’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Senior Payroll Manager to lead and evolve our payroll operations.

 

 

In this newly created position, you’ll take ownership of payroll as both a strategic and operational leader, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of payroll and time & attendance services for a workforce of around 2,000 employees. This includes managing multiple payroll cycles, navigating complex superannuation requirements, and supporting a diverse employee base across both contract and EBA arrangements.

 

 

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding a refreshed operating model, ensuring ongoing compliance with legislative, industrial, and internal standards. With a focus on service excellence, process optimisation, and continuous improvement, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will help us scale with confidence.

About You

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-focused professional with significant experience in finance management and payroll administration, ideally at a senior level. You’ll hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master’s degree and professional membership (such as CPA or CA) considered a plus. A strong grasp of financial principles, payroll regulations, and compliance is essential, along with proficiency in financial systems, Microsoft Excel, and the broader Microsoft Office suite. Success in this role also requires the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders, lead teams effectively, communicate with impact, and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.If you’re ready to step into a high-impact role where your expertise will help shape the future of energy, we’d love to hear from you.
