Senior Manager, Procurement Supply Chain Risk

Transgrid is looking for a visionary leader to shape and drive our enterprise-wide Supply Chain Risk Management. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our operations, where you will anticipate, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks to safeguard continuity, build resilience, and ensure compliance across a complex, asset-intensive environment.
You will embed risk management into strategic procurement, provide executive-level insights on emerging geopolitical and operational challenges, and strengthen the organisation’s readiness to navigate disruption. Key focus areas include
- Designing and implementing a business-wide supply chain risk strategy
- Integrating risk into category management, contracting and supplier governance
- Scenario planning and resilience testing for critical supply chains
- Establishing governance, reporting and analytics to support executive decision-making
- Building and leading a specialist supply chain risk capability
You will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or minimum of 10 years’ experience in comparable industries and commercial / procurement / risk management or operational leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and senior business stakeholders’ communication capability.
- Experience in asset-intensive, or global supply chain environments highly desirable
- Strong governance, policy and framework development capability
