About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Cost Controller to join our Major Projects team and play a key role in the successful delivery of Project EnergyConnect. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll take ownership of cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the project stays on track and within budget. You will work closely with project leads and stakeholders to provide commercial insight, drive governance, and help shape one of the nation’s most critical energy projects. This position ia 10 month fixed term full tine opportunity, possibility of an extentsion.
About You
- Experience in cost control, project controls, or commercial management on large infrastructure or utilities projects
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in EcoSys, SAP, or similar systems
- A track record of managing project budgets, forecasts, and reporting for major capital programs ($100M+)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams
- A proactive mindset with a focus on improvement, collaboration, and delivering real value within a dynamic and proactive team.
