Due to growth in our business, we are now looking to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to join our corporate team. The role will deliver comprehensive, accurate, and timely financial reporting and analysis to support informed decision-making and enhance financial performance. This role will enable the business to effectively manage costs, achieve forecasted targets, and contribute to its overall success.
The role interacts with leadership teams across the Enablers, the Finance leadership team, and works closely with peers and stakeholders across Transgrid. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner (Enablers), this role will be a trusted finance advisor to business and finance stakeholders.

For this role we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who brings a combination of the following
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience
- Commitment to safety, ethical practices, and diversity.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to lead and influence cross business stakeholders in drawing and interpreting relevant data from multiple sources and presenting information in clear and concise reports.
- Demonstrate ability to work cross functional effectively to drive business outcomes.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, including developing practical solutions in uncertain environments.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- A sound understanding of accounting practices and principles.
