The Opportunity

 

This is your chance to join Transgrid as a Senior Document Controller for the VNI West Project. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring seamless management of project records, compliance, and information security for one of Australia’s most transformative energy projects.

 

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. You'll establish and enforce best-practice document control systems, providing expert guidance to project teams and stakeholders. With access to cutting-edge platforms like SharePoint and InEight Doc (TeamBinder), you’ll lead streamline workflows, maintain regulatory compliance, and enhance document integrity across the project lifecycle to work at the forefront of Australia’s transition to renewable energy.

 

About You

 

  • Diploma or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant knowledge and competence in document control gained through experience and 10+ years in documentation and information management
  • Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate document control and information systems eg. SharePoint, InEight Doc
  • Expert knowledge of and proven experience in PC software eg. MS Office, Teams, Windows and Outlook
  • Exceptional ability to liaise with all members of the project team, customers and stakeholders at all levels and ability to effectively manage and offer guidance, training, and support to junior team members
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
