New renewable generation is being built across the eastern seaboard and will connect to the grid to get that electricity to market.
Our major projects are a priority for Governments and for the nation. The integration of renewables will secure and strengthen the electricity network and enable greater sharing between NSW, ACT, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland.
The Senior Document Controller is responsible for establishing and operating document control and records management processes, systems and products in accordance with relevant standards, policies and procedures. The role ensures that Humelink project complies with quality document control, records management procedures and meet compliance requirements
At Transgrid the Senior Document Controller specialises in providing specialist advice and services in a range of document, records and information activities to all levels within Humelink project.
As Senior Document Controller you will:
- Direct and support the project team as document control subject matter expert
- Take leadership in the development, review and continuous improvement of the Document control plan and systems within the Humelink project
- Establish, maintain and enforce a document control system including version control, naming conventions and the appropriate use of the various file storage systems eg SharePoint, InEight Document (Teambinder), HP TRIM, LAN, EDMS, PDGS and PPM
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, external auditors, the Regulatory and People & Culture teams as required with respect to all document control functions in the project
- Provide access to current documents, technical data or reports that will be incorporated into regulatory submissions to assure accuracy of submissions
- Establish and ensure all project records are maintained within the approved document control system and easily accessible
- Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk with document registers and information management
- Build strong working relationships with the team around document control as well as internal and external project stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Solid demonstrated experience in a documentation and information management role
- Diploma or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant knowledge and competence in document control gained through experience
- Ability to effectively manage and offer guidance, training, and support to junior team members
- Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate document control and information systems eg. SharePoint, InEight Doc.
- Expert knowledge of and proven experience in PC software eg. MS Office, Teams, Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
- Exceptional Ability to liaise with all members of the project team, customers and stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional Ability to work in a team environment effectively yet experienced in working autonomously
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Transgrid policies and procedures
- Power PI Knowledge
