About the Role


As a Senior Biodiversity Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of major transmission projects by proactively managing biodiversity risks and impacts across the project lifecycle. You will provide expert technical advice, support planning and approvals, and work closely with delivery teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and minimise environmental impacts. This is an opportunity to influence outcomes on nationally significant infrastructure projects, shaping sustainable delivery and leaving a lasting impact on Australia’s energy future.


About You

  • Demonstrated experience in biodiversity management within infrastructure, utilities, or similar environments, with an understanding of project delivery in complex or linear settings
  • Strong knowledge of environmental approvals, compliance obligations, and biodiversity risk identification and mitigation across project lifecycles
  • Experience working with GIS and spatial data, including data interpretation, reporting, and supporting environmental decision-making
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including contractors, regulators, and internal teams
  • Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical outcomes for diverse audiences.
