The Opportunity

Following an internal promotion, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in the end‑to‑end delivery of Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring timely billing, effective collections, accurate cash receipting, and high‑quality month‑end reporting.

 

You will also act as a subject‑matter expert for the Accounts Receivable module within Oracle, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide day‑to‑day guidance to Accounts Receivable Officers.

 

About You

 

You are a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys working in a complex, high‑value environment.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, or significant equivalent experience at a senior AR level
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex billing and high‑value AR transactions
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle or a similar ERP system, including reporting and issue resolution
  • Solid understanding of financial and management accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills (including reconciliations, data analysis, and exception reporting)
  • Confidence using Microsoft collaboration tools
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives or system enhancements
  • Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and internal control frameworks
  • Ability to coach and support team members while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
