The Enterprise Risk team are currently looking to recruit for a Business Resilience Manager  to join the team in our Ultimo office.  In your new role you will be delivering Transgrid’s resilience strategy using a risk based approach to prepare and protect our people, assets and information. The resilience program at Transgrid includes emergency, crisis and business continuity management as well as the protective security areas addressing personnel, physical and supply chain hazards.

 

About You

 

We’re seeking a technically capable and collaborative professional who can hit the ground running. To be successful in this role, you should bring a mix of the following skills and experience:

 

  • Qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience required for the role.
  • 10+ years’ experience in risk management, resilience, security and corporate organisational experience.
  • Experience in leading and supporting decision-making in a complex and fast growing organisation, navigating change, and adapting quickly.
  • Sound understanding of risk, threat and intelligence practices
  • Visible and engaging cross-functional stakeholder influencing and management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating sessions with business leaders.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to simplify the complex
  • Results orientated, relentlessly uncover challenges and collaborate widely to find suitable solutions.
  • Ability to communicate analysis of data and performance measurement in a meaningful way.
  • Ability to schedule, plan and prioritise resource management.
  • Ability to grasp subject matter (legislation, guidelines, codes, business rules, standards, processes) and apply it to business activities.
  • An understanding of incidents and issues and how to document these
  • Self-managing, but a strong team player that can collaborate well
