Come join Transgrid as a Regulatory Analyst and be responsible for contributing to the development, lodgement and approval of regulatory processes and projects, including network revenue proposals and regulatory modelling, Regulatory Information Notices (RINs), Regulatory Investment Tests (RIT-Ts) and other supporting documents.
This position will also contribute to other regulatory projects and submissions consistent with Transgrid’s regulatory strategy. The following is brief description of the role’s responsibilities.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience. You will bring strong business acumen, project management and consultancy skills, along with demonstrated experience in financial reporting and regulatory analysis. Your ability to apply sound judgment, communicate effectively, and influence outcomes will be key to your success in this role. A commitment to ethical practice, equity, and diversity is essential, as is the personal resilience and integrity to lead yourself and support others. An understanding of the electricity industry and current reform objectives, or a willingness to quickly develop this knowledge, is also important. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to deliver results through effective planning, problem-solving and accountability, while enabling the business through your knowledge of finance, technology, procurement, and project delivery. Your ability to build strong relationships, collaborate with others, provide excellent customer service, and negotiate effectively will help you make a meaningful impact.
