The Opportunity

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for self-motivated & dynamic individual to join the Regulation team at Transgrid as a Regulatory Analyst.

 

Working with and reporting to the Senior Manager Regulation this role will be responsible for contributing to the development, lodgement and approval of regulatory processes and projects, including network revenue proposals and regulatory modelling, Regulatory Information Notices (RINs), Regulatory Investment Tests (RIT-Ts) and other supporting documents.

 

Contribute to the preparation and delivery of revenue proposals and models, associated RINs and other supporting documents against the project objectives, plan and timeframes. This role will see you contributing to the drafting and review of key regulatory proposal documents.

 

We are looking for someone who has a solid background in Regulatory Analysis as this role will contribute to other regulatory projects and submissions consistent with Transgrid’s regulatory strategy. 

 

You will be someone who is adaptable and comfortable working in a fast paced & changing environment. You will be passionate and driven with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.  A self-starter, you will have an ability to balance priorities that will deliver the required outcomes for our business.

 

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • business acumen and well-developed project management and consultancy skills
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and sound judgement to achieve business outcomes through people experience and proven capacity in financial reporting and regulatory analysis
  • Integrity and commitment to ethical practice, equity and diversity
  • Knowledge and understanding of the electricity industry and industry reform objectives or the ability to develop the knowledge.
