The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated, adaptable, and experienced professional to become part of the LUMEA team as a Program Sponsor. LUMEA, a Transgrid Group brand, is dedicated to delivering renewable energy solutions within the competitive energy sector.

As Program Sponsor, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commercial execution of a portfolio of projects across the LUMEA business. This will involve applying robust project management and commercial principles while fostering a collaborative relationship with LUMEA’s internal delivery partner responsible for project implementation.

The role demands a strong focus on customer and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in influencing and supporting various project phases, including bid development and operational processes, to deliver competitive, customer-focused solutions that align with LUMEA’s strategic objectives.

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline such as engineering or business.
• 5-10 years’ experience with infrastructure projects.
• Extensive proven experience and skills in directing and managing programs of large capital infrastructure projects, including the delivery and oversight of governance.
• Highly developed capability and proven experience in networking with multi-disciplinary matrixed teams
• Innovative way of thinking that will enable the promotion and motivation of new approaches for solving challenges for our teams and clients.
• Experience in delivering complex projects with high external visibility.
• Advanced interpersonal and negotiation skills (oral and written) to provide specialist technical and commercial advice during bid development.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiation and conflict management, with the ability to identify the root cause and work with stakeholders to resolve the issue.
