This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. 

 

We are seeking an experienced Project Risk Manager who will be responsible for development and execution of project risk management in accordance with major project procedures. This will include use of systems required to support project controls best practice delivery on this $bn+ major project.     

  

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the role has responsibility for the management of the projects Risk & Analytics systems and frameworks and will work closely with the projects functional leads, and wider Business Units. 

  

This role will require a highly organised person to coordinate the development and implementation of VNI West project risk processes and reporting, whilst also have the responsibility of guiding, mentoring and coaching any project managers, site managers, engineers or graduates within the team. 

  

About You 

  

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent relevant experience 

  • Knowledge and understanding of the evaluation and improvement of internal controls and risk management frameworks (i.e. ISO31000).  

  • Extensive experience in the areas of Risk, Quality Assurance and Analytics 

  • High level analytical and reporting skills. 

  • High level written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience with major infrastructure project risk management. 

  • Solid experience and proven capacity in auditing and/or risk management for a large corporation, utility or construction business. 

  • Working knowledge of risk management systems/applications such as CAMMS. 

  • Risk management certification RMP, PRMP or similar is desired  

  • Use of quantitative risk analysis tool such as acumen risk, safran risk and pallisade @risk.
