The Opportunity

 

This is a chance for you to join the Hunter Transmission Project as a Project Engineer.

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our project delivery team. This role is pivotal in supporting the successful execution of the project by managing technical, procurement, design coordination, and construction-related tasks.

 

You will work closely with Engineering and Project Managers, providing essential support throughout the project lifecycle.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Manage technical RFI responses and coordinate design inputs for construction.
  • Apply engineering expertise to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Work closely with contractors and support the design development and review processes
  • Support the Engineering and Project Managers in achieving delivery goals across all phases.
  • Monitor and update project plans to ensure timely and quality execution.
  • Maintain oversight of scheduling and reporting, highlighting risks and issues.
  • Prepare and contribute to monthly project status reports.

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent substantial industry experience.
  • High-level technical knowledge in substation and transmission line construction.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills, with a high level of professionalism.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups and key business SME’s
  • Familiarity with relevant safety, environmental, and engineering regulations.
  • A current Driver’s Licence is required.
