About the Role

 

The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the delivery and handover phase of the HumeLink project, ensuring all works, documentation and outstanding actions are finalised in line with Transgrid’s standards. Working closely with and supporting senior engineers, you will assist with coordinating project close out activities, maintaining records and resolving items such as non-conformance reports, requests for information and punch lists.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their project engineering experience within a major infrastructure environment while working alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team. Position will be an initial fixed term contract up until October 2027.

 

About You

 

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical or related discipline) or equivalent qualifications and experience
  • Experience in completions, commissioning or quality roles within major infrastructure, energy or utilities projects
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, ITPs and project handover requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
