About the Role

As the Portfolio Quality Manager, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System across our Major Projects portfolio. Partnering with Project Directors and delivery teams, you will establish quality governance, lead assurance activities and embed best practice quality management throughout the project lifecycle. This role is instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with Transgrid's Project Management Framework, ISO 9001:2015 and regulatory requirements while driving a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement.

 

About You

You are a collaborative quality professional who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys influencing positive change. You bring a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Extensive experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management within major infrastructure, engineering, utilities or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Strong knowledge of quality governance, assurance frameworks and audit processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Quality Management or a related discipline.
