About the Role
As the Portfolio Document Controls Manager, you will lead the strategic direction of information and document management across Transgrid's Major Projects portfolio. You will establish and embed best practice governance, systems and processes that support project delivery, regulatory compliance and informed decision-making. Working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders, you will drive consistency, improve assurance and build organisational capability, ensuring information is managed effectively across the full project lifecycle.
About You
You are an experienced information and document management professional who thrives in complex project environments. You combine strategic thinking with a practical approach and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to build fit-for-purpose solutions that improve governance, compliance and project performance.
• Extensive experience leading document control or information management within large-scale infrastructure, engineering, energy or construction projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise document management systems such as InEight, SharePoint or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of governance, compliance and assurance frameworks, with the ability to develop and implement best practice processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary project teams.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver practical, customer-focused outcomes.
