About the Role 

 

As the Planning Manager, you will lead the development, governance and optimisation of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across the Hunter Transmission Project delivery phase. You will ensure alignment with contractual milestones, drive schedule integrity across multiple workstreams, and provide strategic planning insight to support delivery outcomes. Working closely with Delivery and Commercial teams, you will lead the project planning team and oversee schedule performance, risk, and reporting for two major contracts, as well as Transgrid’s own scope of work, ensuring robust, accurate and defensible project timelines. 

 

About You 

 

  • Strong experience in developing and managing integrated master schedules across large and complex multi-disciplinary projects, with experience in energy infrastructure highly regarded 

  • Deep understanding of schedule governance, change control, risk management, and commercial frameworks as applied to program administration (including EOT processes)  

  • Strong experience in managing contractor's program performance, with experience working for Tier 1 contractor or owner’s organisation highly desirable. 

  • Experience managing planning function in an EPC/EPCM environment or similar commercial setting.  

  • Ability to analyse schedule performance, provide strategic insights to support project delivery outcomes, and communicate clearly to both technical and executive audiences. 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across project teams and delivery partners.
