The Opportunity
Join Transgrid and play a key role in supporting nation-building renewable energy projects. We’re seeking a People Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term contract, part-time (3 days/week) with hybrid flexibility.
In this role, you’ll support end-to-end People & Culture processes, provide first-line HR advice, maintain accurate people data, and contribute to continuous improvement across our people services. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, support key HR cycles, coordinate documentation, and help enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate HR processes across the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, changes, exits).
- Manage employment documentation, position data, and visa compliance.
- Provide advice on policies, conditions, and HR processes; triage enquiries via People inbox/ServiceNow.
- Maintain people data integrity, reporting, budgets and invoicing.
- Support projects, process improvements, and preparation of reports and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and contribute to a safe working environment.
About You
- Qualifications or experience in HR, Business or similar.
- 3+ years’ HR experience across recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
- Strong understanding of Awards, NES and Enterprise Agreements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and customer service skills.
- Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working across multiple tasks.
- Skilled in HR systems and Microsoft Office, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
