About the role

 

As a Land Access Officer, you will play a key role in enabling safe and respectful access to land for the delivery of the HumeLink project. Acting as a trusted point of contact for impacted landholders, you will build strong relationships, coordinate access arrangements and support community engagement activities across the project.

 

This is a fixed-term role through to August 2027.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for landholders impacted by the project, building trusted and respectful relationships
  • Coordinate introductions and interactions between landholders and Transgrid work streams, including survey, environmental and land acquisition teams
  • Liaise with landholders to understand property-specific issues and support community engagement activities
  • Coordinate and record property access and field safety arrangements for project teams and contractors
  • Provide support with ad-hoc requests as required by the Land Access Manager.

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Strong experience in frontline landholder liaison activities, property or easement maintenance services
  • Understanding and experience with the legislation, regulatory frameworks, and procedures governing land access and safety in NSW
  • High level of communication, organisational and time management skills
  • High level of written and record-keeping skills
  • Cooperative approach to working in a team
