The Opportunity
If you are excited about Australia’s transition to a low carbon future and want to be involved, we invite you to apply for the position of Land Access Delivery Manager working on our Humelink (East) project.
HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of a new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.
The role relates to the construction delivery stage of the project and involves keeping track of land documentation & overseeing the EPC Contractor's access to the site during construction helping with the handover of the site back to property owners when construction is complete. It is all about ensuring smooth and efficient management of project land agreements and contracts.
The goal is to ensure land access complies with the project timeline while contributing positively to Transgrid's social licence throughout the project's journey.
The position is primarily based in Yass but has the flexibility to be located in Sydney. Frequent travel along the Humelink East alignment, including overnight stays, is a key aspect of this role. The ability to travel as needed and spend time away from home is essential and cannot be compromised.
What we expect from you
- Tertiary Qualifications or/any relevant experience
- A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience.
- A high level of oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction within the energy sector or similar high-risk industries
- Sound knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation, regulations and industry -leading work practices and initiatives
- Experience in leading field staff in a complex high-risk working environment
- Sound influencing skills and the proven ability to build effective interpersonal relationships
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues
- Excellent oral and written skills, superior communications skills with strong attention to detail
- Current driver’s licence
