About Transgrid
At Transgrid, our people keep the electricity network that powers homes, businesses and communities running safely and reliably. As we continue to build workforce capability, trusted learning systems and accurate data are essential to helping our people grow, stay compliant and perform at their best.
About the role
As our LMS & Data Administrator, you’ll own the day-to-day administration, oversight and optimisation of our learning systems and data. Based in Sydney within our People and Culture team, you’ll make sure our learning technologies run effectively, and that learning, compliance and capability information is accurate, accessible and audit-ready.
This is your opportunity to bring together learning systems, data and reporting expertise in a role with organisation-wide impact. You’ll improve how learning information is managed, reported and used, and help leaders make informed decisions about workforce capability.
What you’ll do
Working across learning systems, data, reporting and governance, you will:
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System, including learning activities, user profiles, permissions, workflows and learning assignments, while providing responsive support to learners, managers and administrators.
- Maintain accurate learning, competency, compliance and workforce capability records, and produce meaningful reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Analyse learning and workforce data to identify trends, compliance risks, capability gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades, testing and issue resolution with technology vendors and internal support teams.
- Strengthen learning data governance, documentation and audit readiness, and identify opportunities to improve processes and the user experience.
- Support integrations between the LMS, HR systems and other learning technologies.
What you’ll bring
You’re a detail-focused, service-oriented systems professional who can turn complex learning data into clear, practical insights. You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience administering a Learning Management System or similar enterprise platform, supported by a relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong data management, analytical and reporting capability, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Power BI or a comparable business intelligence platform to create dashboards and capability reports.
- A strong commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, governance and audit-ready record keeping.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience with SuccessFactors Learning, compliance or audit reporting, registered training organisations (RTOs), or learning and competency management practices will be highly regarded.
Why this role
This role brings together learning technology, data analytics and continuous improvement. You’ll influence how learning and capability information is managed across Transgrid, and help build systems and insights that support compliance, workforce planning and a better employee experience.
