The Opportunity
New Year, New Career – Lead Internal Communications at Transgrid

We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join our Corporate Affairs division. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the communications and channels that engage our most important audience – our people. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, you will design and deliver best-practice internal communication strategies and campaigns that support the strategic priorities of Transgrid and Lumea and build connections between our people and the organisation.
You’ll also have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of four talented internal communications specialists and a communications coordinator, fostering a collaborative environment where creativity, insight, and professional growth are encouraged.

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A proven ability to consult, negotiate, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and influence outcomes
- Well-developed analytical skills to assess issues and contribute to business-focused insights
- A collaborative, team-focused mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring and developing others
