Shape Australia’s energy future, together.

For 70 years, we’ve kept communities connected to the electricity they rely on every hour, every day. As the operator of the high-voltage transmission network powering NSW and the ACT, we play a vital role in delivering safe, reliable, and affordable energy to millions of Australians.

Today, we work with communities, customers and partners to maintain a grid Australia can count on, and build one that’s ready for more renewables, more resilience and more opportunity. Together, we’re shaping a grid that supports a cleaner, more connected energy future.

The Opportunity

As Industry Event Advisor, you’ll be at the centre of how Transgrid shows up across the energy and infrastructure sector. You’re shaping experiences that build credibility, strengthen relationships, and reinforce Transgrid’s reputation in Australia’s energy transition.

You’ll work closely with members of the Corporate Affairs team, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-quality industry events, sponsorships, and engagement activities. From major conferences and executive roundtables to site tours and technical webinars, you’ll make sure every interaction is purposeful, well executed, and aligned to our strategic priorities and brand.

If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering events that genuinely matter, this role offers variety, visibility, and real impact.

About the role

  • Plan and deliver Transgrid’s participation in industry events, conferences, forums, and exhibitions, from early scoping through to post-event reporting.
  • Coordinate sponsorships and industry partnerships, ensuring they deliver clear value, visibility, and return on investment.
  • Manage logistics including registrations, speaker coordination, run sheets, venues, safety requirements, and branded collateral.
  • Deliver Transgrid-hosted executive events, site visits, depot and substation tours, working closely with internal technical and leadership teams.
  • Support the delivery of technical webinars and external briefings for industry and stakeholder audiences.
  • Maintain forward calendars, budgets, and reporting to support leadership visibility and decision-making.
  • Ensure all activities align with Transgrid’s brand guidelines, safety standards, and stakeholder engagement principles.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, event partners, and industry organisations to support seamless delivery.

This role sits within Corporate Affairs and plays a key part in how Transgrid builds trust, influence, and presence across the industry at a time of unprecedented change.
