As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic technology architecture team. This role is a senior member of Transgrid’s Information & Technology team, accountable for the key strategic leadership to shape and drive the overall architecture vision and strategy for the assigned portfolios to ensure the organisation achieves its goals.

This role involves managing application portfolios, producing conceptual architectures and solution briefs, advising stakeholders, to support the company’s strategic objectives that supports the overall direction of the company.

The role will provide Enterprise Architecture leadership within the Transgrid Technology team to ensure alignment of business strategies with Technology initiatives and ensure effective implementation of the proposed architectures.

  • Collaborates closely with the senior leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders to develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture landscape.
  • Maintains Enterprise Architecture data to assess and evaluate the landscape.
  • Presents valuable insights for decision making and investment prioritisation.
  • Work as part of a team on Concept and Business Case development

 

About You

Additionally we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who brings a combination of the following

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills to facilitate professional work collaboration & delivery, guide and mentor team members and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the design, delivery and governance of IT solutions & services, applied in a complex commercial and highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in delivering technology strategy papers and architecture roadmaps, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with business goals to drive business value.
  • Experience with or certification in an IT Architecture framework, e.g. TOGAF.

 

Desirable

 

  • Cloud architecture or engineering certifications.
  • Exposure to industrial control (OT) systems.
  • Exposure to AESCSF or related cyber security frameworks.
