About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager – Major Projects to lead the design delivery for the VNI West project. Reporting to the Project Director, you’ll champion engineering excellence across all phases from development to handover. You will lead a team of high-performing engineers, drive design innovation, and collaborate with partners to deliver best-for-project outcomes.
About You
You are a proven engineering leader with deep technical knowledge and a passion for driving large-scale infrastructure projects. Your ability to think strategically, influence stakeholders, and foster high-performance teams sets you apart. You will bring:
- Degree qualifications in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (postgraduate or CPEng highly regarded).
- Experience in high-voltage infrastructure project development and design delivery.
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
- Expertise in transmission line and substation design, with a sound understanding of HV systems, standards, and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver results in a complex, matrixed organisation.
