About Transgrid

At Transgrid, we’re helping shape Australia’s energy future by building and maintaining the transmission infrastructure that powers homes, businesses and communities. This is an opportunity to contribute to work that will have a lasting impact for generations to come.

About The Role

By joining the Hunter Transmission Project, you will be part of unlocking the electricity supply that will provide the backbone of NSW’s new electricity grid for generations to come. As coal-fired power stations close, the Hunter Transmission Project is critical for energy security in NSW. This is a chance to join a transformative, multi-year project.

As Community Engagement Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering community and stakeholder engagement strategies that support project approvals, construction delivery and long-term social licence for the project. • Lead community consultation, engagement programs and community investment initiatives across the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate stakeholder and community risks, issues and enquiries.

  • Experience developing and implementing community engagement, stakeholder management and communications strategies.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
