The Opportunity

 

We are currently seeking a highly capable and service-oriented Workplace Services Team Leader based in Eastern Creek to lead the front-of-house and office support function for our regional depots in Wagga Orange Tamworth Newcastle, Yass and Eastern Creek.

 

This is a hands-on leadership position that ensures the day-to-day operations of reception, visitor experience, meeting room services, and general workplace support run seamlessly. You’ll be responsible for creating a professional, safe, and efficient workplace that supports the needs of our people and our business.

 

This role is based on-site five days per week, with occasional hybrid flexibility by exception.

 

A Day in the Life at Transgrid

 

On any given day, you might:

 

  • Lead and support a team delivering front-of-house, reception, and visitor management services.
  • Oversee meeting room readiness, event coordination, and executive-level support.
  • manage office systems such as mail distribution, security pass control, stationery, and catering logistics.
  • Support administrative processes, records management and travel bookings for corporate and operational teams.
  • Ensure the workplace environment reflects Transgrid’s safety, service, and presentation standards at all times.

 

About You

 

You are a confident, customer-focused professional with a background in office management, front-of-house leadership, executive assistance or practice management in complex, high-profile environments.

 

Your strong organisational skills are matched by your ability to manage people, solve problems, and maintain a calm, service-first approach under pressure. You thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in creating a polished and well-run workplace.

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

 

  • Experience in workplace coordination, executive support or reception/FOH leadership within a corporate, government or regulated setting
  • A warm, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A strong understanding of facilities, WHS responsibilities and office operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, and familiarity with systems like TRIM or SharePoint (desirable)
