The Opportunity

 

We are seeking experienced mid-senior level Project Controllers to help deliver landmark renewable energy projects that will power Australia for generations.

 

In this role, you will oversee cost control and project performance across major capital works, ensuring budgets, forecasts, and delivery targets are achieved. You’ll bring specialised expertise in cost and forecast management, change and contingency controls, budgeting, and reporting across complex programs.

 

With a strong background in capital-intensive industries, the ideal candidate will offer sharp financial acumen, analytical insight, and a keen attention to detail. Your ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and communicate with clarity will be key as you collaborate across engineering, planning, and commercial teams.

About you

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of project and cost management standards and practices (e.g. AACE, PMBOK)
  • Experience in the power industry, particularly with large substation and transmission line projects, is highly regarded
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong reporting and analytical capabilities
  • Proven experience using project controls tools and systems for reporting and analysis
  • A current Australian driver’s licence is required, with occasional travel to project sites expected
