The Opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Program Scheduler to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

As the Program Scheduler, you will develop and maintain project and program schedules, update forecasts, maintain integrity and accuracy of project information in the approved project controls and management systems and produce status reports and analysis. You will implement project scheduling processes and systems and facilitate effective reporting of projects. To do this, it is crucial you develop and maintain effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

About you

 

  • Tertiary qualifications at a degree level in engineering, project management or a related discipline
  • Prior experience and background in project scheduling and reporting in a capital intensive industry (Infrastructure, Energy/Utilities, etc.)
  • Strong experience in utilising MS Project for project scheduling
  • Experience in/exposure to engineering, construction or operations phase of projects
  • Strong command of Excel and other Office tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with common project management and controls standards
  • Self-starter and driven approach to scheduling and information management

 

Desirable:

 

  • Experience in Power, Utilities or Energy industry
  • Experience using Primavera P6
  • Familiarity and/or experience in risk and earned value management processes
