The Opportunity

In this role, you will oversee the delivery of maintenance programs for high-voltage substation assets, providing both technical and site leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes. This role can be based at any Transgrid location, and we welcome applicants from all regions.

 

You’ll work closely with other Program Leads, while also engaging contractors and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet performance targets and customer expectations.

 

Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HV substations, strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, and is confident navigating both technical site work and office-based program coordination.

 

 

About You

  • Electrical Trade Certificate III or equivalent, with additional leadership coursework desirable.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in substation transmission maintenance or project delivery.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
  • Proven experience in contractor onboarding and site supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation relevant to substation operations.
  • A valid NSW Driver’s Licence, with the ability and willingness to travel to sites as part of the role.
