Transgrid is seeking a visionary Director of Strategic Asset Management to drive excellence across one of Australia’s most critical infrastructure systems. This is more than a leadership role—it’s your opportunity to influence how energy is delivered, secured, and evolved for millions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and champion a world-class Asset Management System aligned to ISO 55001
- Shape long-term network strategy and influence the Transgrid Business Plan
- Be accountable for the development, implementation and assurance monitoring of systems to meet Transgrid’s network safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements across NSW, ACT, and Victoria
- Drive innovation, risk management, and continuous improvement across the asset lifecycle
- Work across the business to influence, inform and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Inspire and lead a high-performing team of technical specialists
You’ll be at the forefront of:
- Strengthening trust with regulators, customers, and stakeholders
- Enabling reliable energy transition through strategic asset planning

We’re looking for a leader with deep expertise in asset lifecycle management, asset management system implementation, regulatory compliance, and network safety—someone who can balance technical excellence with commercial insight and strategic vision.
