About the role
As the Delivery Director for the Hunter Transmission Project, you will provide senior leadership for the end-to-end execution and delivery of the project, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the HTP Program Director, the role is responsible for overseeing project delivery, workforce health and safety, environmental compliance, constructability, and risk management across all workstreams. Acting as a key integration and escalation point, you will coordinate complex interfaces, drive continuous improvement, and foster strong collaboration across delivery partners and Transgrid teams to deliver critical infrastructure that supports system reliability and the energy transition.
About you
- Extensive experience leading large-scale infrastructure or energy projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Proven capability overseeing end-to-end project delivery, including safety, environmental compliance, constructability, and risk management
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor, and empower high-performing, diverse teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex interfaces, delivery partners, and governance requirements
- A collaborative, decisive leader with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience applying specialist skills on major infrastructure projects with a strong preference for those exceeding $500m in value.
