The Opportunity
In your new role, you'll help shape the future of Australia's energy network by providing the cost insights that support major transmission and substation projects across NSW and the ACT. The position is based in Ultimo, though we're also open to candidates located in Eastern Creek or Newcastle.
Working alongside project teams, you'll develop accurate cost estimates, contribute to risk and contingency assessments, and provide the analysis that helps bring critical infrastructure projects to life.Joining a collaborative and supportive team, you'll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning transmission lines, substations, network upgrades, maintenance programs and energy transition initiatives.

About You
The ideal candidate will bring estimating, project controls, quantity surveying or construction experience, along with a proactive approach and a genuine interest in the commercial side of infrastructure projects.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience preparing cost estimates for construction, engineering or infrastructure projects, with experience in transmission and substation projects desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand project scope, costs, risks and key cost drivers.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
- A collaborative, approachable working style with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
