About The Role

 

 

As a Cost Engineer in Transgrid’s HumeLink Major Projects team, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of some of Australia’s largest energy infrastructure developments.

 

You will lead the preparation, analysis, and management of detailed cost plans and forecast to completion, ensuring accuracy and transparency throughout the project.

 

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will support strategic decision-making, identify cost risks and opportunities, and drive the continuous improvement of cost management practices on high-profile transmission projects.

 

 

About You

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
  • Proven cost engineering expertise on major infrastructure projects, including EPC/ITC delivery models
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), CPI and SPI principles.
  • Strong ability to turn cost, schedule, and field data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and foster collaborative working relationships.
